PUBLIC CARE

A referral is required Dr. Ian Lo through his public practice (i.e. Alberta Health Care) at Access Orthopaedics. Referrals can be faxed to his office at (587) 387- 3158. Referrals will be triaged by Dr Lo and may be initially sent through the Access Orthopaedics triage clinic due to his extensive public waitlist.

For WCB or other third party insurers, please speak to your family doctor or insurer for the steps to see Dr. Lo at Canadian Surgery Solutions.

The majority of Dr. Lo’s public patients with shoulder issues are seen at Access Orthopaedics.

Patients with fracture or acute injury referred from the emergency department are generally seen at the Peter Lougheed Cast Clinic.

The majority of Workers Compensation (WCB) patients with shoulder issues are seen at Canadian Surgery Solutions (Clearpoint Health Surgical Centre).
